Static guarding
Static guarding
Uniformed, SIA licensed officers on a fixed post at your premises — day, night or 24/7, working to written assignment instructions agreed with you.
A static officer is a presence: someone at the door, on the gate or walking the site who knows what normal looks like and acts before a small problem becomes a large one.
Every officer works to written assignment instructions agreed with you — what to check, who to admit and what to do when something is wrong. We cover single posts through to multi-site contracts, with relief officers built in so cover does not fall over when someone is on leave.
What we need to quote
- WhoWho needs protecting, and anyone travelling with them.
- Where & whenDates, locations, hours, and how you move between them.
- What changedWhat has prompted the enquiry, so we can judge the risk honestly.
Licence numbers, the written brief and any reporting are available for your records.
Static guarding in practice
Front of house & reception
A professional, uniformed presence at the door, managing access and being the first point of contact.
Out-of-hours & overnight
Night posts, sleeping or waking cover, and weekend guarding when the building is empty.
Gatehouse & access control
Vehicle and visitor control, deliveries, contractor sign-in and a written record of who came and went.
Vacant property & void cover
Protecting empty buildings and void units between tenancies from intrusion, damage and illegal occupation.
Construction & site security
Cover for plant, materials and compounds, including out-of-hours when most site theft happens.
Key holding & alarm response
We hold the keys and attend when the alarm goes off, so you are not called out at 3am.

Static guarding — straight answers
Are your static security officers licensed?
Yes. Every officer holds a current SIA front-line licence for the role they work, and licence numbers are available on request.
Can you cover nights and weekends?
Yes. Overnight, weekend and 24/7 cover is normal for us, including bank holidays.
What are your minimum hours?
Cover is usually priced on a minimum shift, typically 8 or 12 hours. Tell us the hours you need and we will quote honestly.
Do you provide key holding and alarm response?
Yes. We can hold keys and attend alarm activations, which is often cheaper than sending a member of your own staff out at night.
